Deadpool is a funny character and toy photography involving him will only end up super entertained! I spend my weekend shooting this Marvel Legend Deadpool from Sauron wave along with my very old 1:12 scale Ducati Streetfighter S diecast scale motorcycle by Maisto. The shoot turned out excellent and I was super happy, because the lighting condition, location and even the equipment panned out perfectly.
Because this photo shoot was based around Deadpool’s ride of choice, I made some shots with bokeh effect creating mystery in the scene! This casual Deadpool is one of my recent addition and this is moreover a warmup shoot but with his half open mask and boxers making him hilarious even without doing some dramatic poses. I also thought, what if I start with a dilemma… yeah Ducati’s dilemma!
I like this Ducati Streetfighter S and was super happy when Maisto released this in India. Because I like this bike’s rear 3/4 so much I ended up taking almost 60-80% shot enhancing this angle. But those limited other angles turned out perfectly… best example is the cover pic that captures the sharp purpose build front end of this Ducati and Deadpool’s lower body works as a prop that adds fun quotient to this frame.
One brilliant aspect about these action figures is those articulation! And Hasbro gives some crazy articulation abilities to it Marvel Legends series giving me endless possibilities. The above Deadpool riding is one of my favorite action poses in this entire series and I loved doing it, though some photoshopping involved but very limited!
This Deadpool comes with raised pinky in his left hand, which adds some funny gesture to this freaky figure. I used this unique gesture to my advantage and took some shot. Of all the shot enhancing his raised pinky, the one above is my favorite, why? Should you even ask??
Deadpool resting on his ride has almost became by my trademark… Yeah and I crazily like it with this Deadpool. He looks better in this pose than the other Deadpool from Sasquatch wave(fully suited version of Deadpool), thanks to those printed boxers and pink flip-flops.
The above three pics are some parting shots I did to conclude this photo shoot post… I was supposed to pick one but because my love for 3/4 angle of naked bike is over the roof I decided to post them all as they look unique in their own way. I had hell a lot of fun doing these shots and hope you had fun in admiring them. Till next time… Ciao.
