Action figure collection is hobby that excites you in its own way… Some just collection because they treat them as investments, some collect to relive the movie every now and then and some other(like me) pick figures to photograph and display them proudly in their Instagram (mine is @figstop). And for me collection is secondary, quality is of paramount importance, so I don’t pick random figures. I pick figures that serve a purpose for me both in my display and also in my Instagram.
Because I am so focused, my collection looks incomplete to some thats because I only pick one or two from a wave unlike many collectors! And sometime I wait and wait till I find a decent action figure… This Binary Form Captain Marvel is one of them! I have wait till last week, when I get to see my favorite Captain Marvel action figure in my door steps! Its better late than never.
Hulkbuster is my favorite Iron Man suit and always wanted bigger variant that could stand and intimidate other Avengers. But due to some bad luck I couldn’t get this 12inch Hulkbuster, who is purely a toy but makes me so happy. I have to do some customization to make it rub shoulders with my other Marvel Studios “Hulkbuster” and also with other Marvel Legends.
The same goes for this Captain America in Quantum suit, of all the figures in this wave I only wanted this, Ronin and Ebony Maw. I scored Ebony Maw last month and he looks super cool in my desk already… This time I am picking Steve Rogers in his Quantum suit, who can also work as a body donor for Tony Stark.
This Finn figure was picked because I like his brown jacketed look, who works perfectly with most of my super car in 1:18 scale. And also he is joining my bigger Star Wars figure group, yeah he is the fifth 3.75inch action figure carrying Star Wars badge. And 50% discount on this is an added advantage for sure.
I started adding 6inch action figures purely to accompany my 1:12 scale motorbikes and this Sergeant Jyn Erso is a pick that serves this very purpose perfectly. She was picked to go with my touring bike collection starting from the very old BMW R1200GS to Ducati Multistrada 1200. Her attire and attitude adds that extra bad girl looks. Overall last few weeks have been good and looking forward to acquire more in the days to come! Till next time, Ciao.
