Bendable figures are cool, I kind of love them because the seamless joints and organic look in general! Just like every kid from my time, grew up watching Scooby Doo and every single one of them would have said this dialogue “Scooby Doo, Where are You?” I was looking for a decent Scooby Doo ever since I got into this hobby and I wasn’t lucky till last year!
I found this in a bookstore that has some toys and picked it immediately… I only wanted a Scooby Doo but I don’t wanted to keep him alone so I picked his best friend, Shaggy and left the rest of the gang in the store.
Though I got this set last year, but I dint take it out of its plastic cage till today. Because the package is a blister type one, I used my Hot Wheels unpacking style and saved the card, which has some cool card art! The front side of the cards are identical but the back side have different graphics!
Once these figures are out of their package, they come into life! Out of the box, their default pose itself is sleek and works in most situation.
Of the two, I personally love the Scooby Doo as it look more organic and accurate! Scooby Doo comes with some neck collar that reads “SD”, which is a nice touch. Shaggy figure gets a bit of lower score because of the cartoon face and open fist, which kind of makes it a bit rigid!
These two works well together and I kind of feel they also works with some 1:12/6inch figures. I am not that interested in other figures but has started my hunt for a decent “Mystery Machine” to go with these. I will put up a review pretty soon! Till next time, Ciao.
